Baptism and Confirmation Course (BCC)

PURPOSE
Baptism & Confirmation Course (BCC) serves to prepare new believers for water baptism, and membership into COOS and the wider Anglican church.

SCHEDULE
There are 3 Cycles of BCC in 2018, from which you may choose any. Each Cycle comprises 7 lessons for BCC candidates. Candidates are required to attend all 7 lessons (see table below). Once you begin the course, you are expected to complete it. If you are unable to attend any lesson(s) in a registered cycle, make-up must be done in the next cycle. You are encouraged to pray and trust the Lord to help you go through the whole course.

POWER ENCOUNTER WEEKEND (PEW)
The PEW component (Lesson 5-7) involves both teaching and prayer ministry for you in areas related to inner healing. It is conducted by a team of trained ministry-counselors. Please note that you are required to complete Lesson 1 to 4 before attending PEW.

BAPTISM SERVICE
Only candidates who have completed all the required lessons are eligible for water baptism, unless special or valid reasons are given by their respective Zone Pastors.

CONFIRMATION SERVICE
Only upon water baptism, will candidates be informed in due course with a letter of invitation by email for Confirmation. Confirmation is the official rite into COOS/Anglican membership.

For more information, please contact Church of Our Saviour at 6885 0700 (Office Hours) or the COOS admin counter during the weekend services.
