Membership and Confirmation Course (MCC)
Thank you for your interest to be a member of Church of Our Saviour (COOS). The MCC has been specially designed with you in mind and we look forward to seeing you at our coming sessions.
WHO NEEDS TO ATTEND
Membership & Confirmation Course (MCC) serves to prepare transferees from other churches for membership into COOS and the wider Anglican church.
There are 3 cycles of MCC in 2018, from which you may choose any. Each cycle comprises 5 lessons for MCC candidates.
MCC COMPONENTS (All are mandatory for membership)
MCC includes the following components and shall be attended in the order listed:
Step 1: MCC Lessons
Candidates are required to attend all 5 lessons (see table below). Once you begin the course, you are expected to complete it. If you are unable to attend any lesson(s) in a registered cycle, make-up must be done in the next cycle. You are encouraged to pray and trust the Lord to help you go through the whole course.
Step 2: Power Encounter Weekend (PEW)
The PEW component (Lesson 5-7) involves both teaching and prayer ministry for you in areas related to inner healing. It is conducted by a team of trained ministry-counselors.
Step 3: Confirmation Service
Only upon completion of all course requirements, candidates will be informed in due course with a letter of invitation for Confirmation. Confirmation is the official rite into COOS/Anglican membership.
For more information, please contact Church of Our Saviour at 6885 0700 (Office Hours) or the COOS admin counter during the weekend services.
You may download a 2018 Registration Form and submit at COOS Admin counter over weekend services.
