Creative Music Workshop
SUNSHINE Ministry brings you a fun music workshop. Come for a time to learn how to engage loved ones with special needs through music. The workshop provides a great opportunity for families to get together to share and fellowship with one another in a safe, loving and accepting environment.
SUNSHINE ministry volunteers will be available to help support families during the whole event. Open to families of persons (child/youth/ adult) with special needs from all congregations from English, Youth, Chinese main & youth and Filipino services. A tea fellowship will be included at the end of the workshop.

Workshop programme flow :
Serena Lo is an experienced and qualified Piano, Speech & Drama Teacher, for typical and persons with physical and intellectual challenges.
She uses music Intervention, creativity, dance, movements, drama, games, rhythmic phonics etc, to enhance speech, communication, academia, fine, gross motor, social skills, family bonding, self-esteem and holistic development.
Through love, patience and respect, she hopes to equip and encourage families with physical, intellectual, emotional, life threatening, limiting and other medical conditions to celebrate life.

How to register
Families who are interested may register at the admin counter during weekend services. Cost is $5 per head , and is free for person with special needs and their sibling(s) 4 years and below.
The person with special needs is be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian; accompanying family member or caregiver is welcome to participate at $5 per pax.
