  • Diocesan Theological Studies (DTS)

For 2022, St Peter’s Hall’s Anglican Lay Training has curated 4 theological courses under our Diocesan Theological Studies (DTS) to equip the laity.  These courses are based on the Apostles’ Creed. Please see  Attachment 1_, Attachment 2, Attachment 3, Attachment 4, Attachment 5, Attachment 6, Attachment 7  for your reference and to disseminate the information to your members and encourage them to sign up for the courses.   • Diocesan Administrative Office closure

With Bishop’s blessings, the Diocesan Administrative Office will be closed from 24 December 2021 till 2 January 2022 for the staff team to have a time of rest and refreshing in the Lord.

During this time, should you require urgent assistance, please send a Whatsapp message to 8873 1437. We seek your kind understanding that the staff may take some time to respond to you.

  • Provincial Prayer Meeting 2021 

The Provincial prayer team represented by Canon Kenneth Thien from the Diocese of Sabah, Revd Ivor, Diocese of Kuching, Revd David Rajiah, Diocese of West Malaysia and Revd Joseph & Revd Aaron from the Diocese of Singapore invites you to join us for the Provincial Prayer Meeting 2021 on 1 December 2021, 7:30–9pm via YouTube & Zoom. Please refer to the Letter from Archbishop Melter Tais as per Attachment 1 The theme for this year is “Be ready for the return of the Lord” where Archbishop Melter Tais will bring forth the Word. Please refer to Attachment 2 and Attachment 3 for publicity and programme details.

  • Zoom Webinar on Including People with Dementia in Churches: Theology and Praxis (suitable for lay people, ministry leaders, and clergy interested in caring for persons with dementia in churches)

You are cordially invited to a Zoom webinar “Including People with Dementia in Churches: Theology and Praxis” on 11 Dec 2021 (Sat) 4:30-6pm. The Diocese’s participation is approved and supported by Bishop Titus Chung, this event features keynote speaker, Prof. John Swinton (University of Aberdeen), a world-renowned authority in the field of disability theology and ministry, especially in dementia.  BGST lecturer Mr Leow Wen Pin will be giving the Theological Response, Dr Lester Leong of St Luke’s Eldercare will be giving the Clinical Response, and Ven Wong Tak Meng will be giving the Pastoral Response.
